Gather your tribe

Dairy Flat Lodge & Farm, located in the hamlet of Musk; just 6km from Lake House and the village of Daylesford Australia, provides an idyllic backdrop with its mountain air, starry skies, lush bushlands and rolling country hills.

Weekend Wedding Retreat

  • Dairy Flat is exclusively for groups looking for a magical & memorable experience, a place for connection & celebration.

The Lodge itself includes six suites; each with luxurious ensuites, main lounge, library and chefs kitchen. It’s a sumptuous and carefully curated space rich in texture, colour, art & life.

Serviced by your own private concierge; this is not a hotel but a very special serviced country house on an organic farm; less than 10 minutes from Daylesford.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the property; hay-strewn rolling hills, 5 acres of vegetable, herb and cutting gardens, 300 tree olive grove, vineyard, heirloom orchard, lagoon, ornamental hedgerow gardens, wisteria walk, silver birch drive and rows of Manchurian pear …

There is also electric bikes, a hot tub overlooking the vines and the now-famous semi-underground bake house which produces a range of slow-fermented sourdough, croissants, doughnuts and more each morning for guests.

Pre and post-wedding photography here is a dream.

    Bank those memories…

A Day At Dairy Flat Lodge

  • It is a working farm – there are always growers and gardeners around, often the beekeeper or viticulturalist. And then there’s the bakers. After a quick ‘early riser’ coffee, you’ll be spurred on by the smell of fresh bread and pastries baking. Make sure to stop by for a chat in the Bake House.

Through the formal gardens, the olive groves and onto the vegetable & herb gardens where the morning’s harvest will be in progress – destined for the tables at the Lake House Restaurant.

By now the Lodge Concierge will be grinding fresh coffee beans in the kitchen and the house and its residents will be stirring in readiness for the country breakfast that awaits. In the library, or peace and quiet somewhere in the extensive gardens with a good book; more strolls through the vineyard and across the pastures; or some local off-site adventures on foot or on one of our electric bikes.

There’ll be laughter over backgammon or charades. Conversations will flourish. Some will take to the cedar hot tub overlooking the vineyard, others may wish to wait until the adjacent fire pit is lit and enjoy the inky star-strewn skies.

Relax, sleep tight and leave it to us…
