What do you get the woman who seemingly has it all?
Finding the perfect gift for someone who has been nourishing you since day one… not so easy… luckily, we have Mother’s Day all wrapped up for you.
If this is your first stay at Lake House, please take a look around. If you are not sure where to start or would like to speak with one of our onsite Guest Service Team members, we would be delighted to assist you with your booking and planning. T: 5348 3329.
Autumn at our house on the lake feels like an invitation to reset. It’s the preparation for the Winter months which may appear as the cool air in a dark starry sky, a little mist that lingers on the lake before a glorious sunny day. There are definitely many afternoons left to enjoy by the infinity pool, especially as it’s heated to 28C.
As we go further into Autumn, leaves start to turn and soon we’re surrounded by deep crimson red, vibrant yellow, gold, amber and orange in amongst the evergreen varietals of trees and forest. A thick colourful carpet of leaves will gather before long, inviting the child in each of us to come out and play.
You’ll see nature’s glorious display in abundance if you visit Dairy Flat Farm throughout your stay. It’s literally a hive of activity; grapes being picked for our own wine, the honey harvest,
orchard fruit being gathered for preserves, cider and vinegars, the daily harvest for the kitchen of late season tomatoes, green and yellow zucchini, kipfler, pink fir apple and russet burbank potatoes, garlic, cucumbers, beetroot, butter beans, French sorrel, rockmelon, blackberries, carrots, basil, lemon balm, calendula, fennel and more.
In the Spa we lean closely into our Ayurvedic values and encourage you to ground through long, slow and warming therapies; hot mineral water bathing for detoxification and lymphatic stimulation; rhythmic massage to assist in reducing stress, anxiety and muscle tension, rituals to encourage a sound and restful sleep.
Lunch and dinner centers around nourishment for the mind and body. We believe that good food matters and that now more than ever it’s important to break bread with family, friends and acquaintances old and new. So, plan an escape, spend time alone and let us look after you or escape to reconnect. Our commitment continues to hospitality, knowledge, skill, quality produce, integrity in delivery and purpose behind the passion. Warm relaxed hospitality without the need for a jacket and tie.
We look forward to welcoming you to our house on the lake soon.

Children at Lake House
At Lake House, we enjoy watching multi-generations of guests come together over a meal or a weekend away. After 30 years, we are seeing the next generation come and stay with their own children. We do accommodate our younger clientele as much as possible by offering nanny services, kids welcome packs & activities such as feeding the ducks, geese and kookaburras. However, Lake House is situated on an unfenced lake amongst 6 acres of rambling country gardens. We ask all guests travelling with children to be mindful of our geography whilst enjoying your time at Lake House.
In the Lake House restaurant, we try to accommodate children where possible. Special menus are designed for our younger clientele in mind should they not wish to try the a la carte menus. Families, please note that premium evening sittings in the restaurant over weekends are fixed price of $225 per person. If you are travelling with children, there are several options if you wish to avoid this per person price for young ones. Children’s Menus are offered at lunch or in the evening delivered to the comfort of your room. Babysitters can, of course, be arranged with notice.
Parking at Lake House
We offer free car parking in our public car park. Vehicles are left at guests’ own risk, Lake House is unable to take responsibility for any damages incurred to vehicles parked on-site or in adjacent car parks.
