To the Lake House community

Update: Regarding Metropolitan Melbourne Lockdown and closure of the State borders.

Our region remains open at present and reservations are available for travelers in Victoria outside of the lock down area.

During this time, we are taking all possible precautions to ensure the health and safety of both our team and travelers. As a result some operational restrictions will still be in place to ensure this.

Any travelers who are affected by the Victorian "hot spot lock down" and hold existing reservations, please contact out team. We appreciate your consideration and thank-you for postponing your travel until restrictions ease.

Bookings for both accommodation and restaurant can be made online, 24 hours a day.

Alternatively, our Reservation Team is available 9am – 5pm daily.

Our Daylesford Farm

Dairy Flat Farm Daylesford is our own 38 acre regenerative growing facility 10 minutes down the road from Lake House.

The property includes five acres of dedicated vegetable gardens, a working barn for classes and workshops, 3 hoop houses, a glass house; an orchard of 300 trees; an olive grove and two and a half acre vineyard of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir plantings.

The on-site bake house is built in a semi-underground cellar with views to established hedgerow gardens. It specialises in slow-fermented sourdough and associated viennoiserie and hosts a regular calendar of masterclasses with collaborating baker Michael James. The bake house supplies Lake House guests with daily items. Retail sales are available from Wombat Hill House, in the beautiful Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens.

The Lodge at Dairy Flat is a special addition, an opportunity for travellers to immerse themselves in the beauty and energy of a productive farm.
