Introduction to Sourdough Baking

Not all bread is created equal. If you’re curious to learn more about sourdough and particularly slow fermentation – this is the class for you.

Join one of Australia’s most celebrated bakers; Michael James (ex-Tivoli Road Bakery) for an intensive session in the state of the art bake house at Dairy Flat Farm; the new property created by the team at Lake House.

Includes recipes, notes, an apron to take home, refreshments (tea, coffee, sparkling water & tastings) and hands-on tuition with Michael James. Space is limited to 12 guests per class.

Summer Cooking School

Sunday 1st March | 10am – 2:30pm

Join the Lake House chefs for a hands-on Masterclass; an exclusive opportunity to work with two of the award-winning team in producing a three-course seasonal menu. Spend a few hours working with the region’s best produce; learn new techniques, tips and ideas.

Includes a three-hour cooking session, Cooking School apron, sit down lunch of the dishes produced, wine, refreshments & recipe folder.

Far North Exhibition by Allan Wolf-Tasker

In his most recent exhibition; Allan left his studio in Daylesford for the vastly different Far North of Australia, an area he has visited with his wife Alla since the 1970s but never before captured on his canvas.
