Champagne Bollinger Brut Special Cuvée, NV, France A family run Maison of Champagne about to turn 200 years old, that has its place in the lives of the greats… one of the favourite tipple of the late Queen Elizabeth II and fictional Ian Fleming’s James Bond character who’d only swear by Martini’s (stirred) and Bollinger R.D. 1961… Special Cuvée is composed of over 85% Grand and Premier crus of the three main Champagne varieties: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. It is cellar aged for 30 months, some of which in magnum to build this intriguing balance.
