Cooking Class. Sunday 25 February 9.30am – 3pm
Good Food Matters Series - 2024
To begin the day – join us at our bakery at Dairy Flat Farm (just a few clicks from Lake House Daylesford, the mothership) for coffee and pastries as our bakers finish up after their overnight bake of sourdough loaves and assorted viennoiserie.
Enjoy a tour of the farm from the bake house, past the vineyard, through the olive grove towards the orchard and extensive vegetable and herb plantings which supply the tables at Lake House. Hear about our regenerative farm practices and what we’re currently planting and harvesting. Travel the few minutes to Lake House (car share available) don an apron and join two senior Lake House chefs for a hands-on class in producing a beautiful seasonal ‘shared table‘ style lunch which includes just harvested Dairy Flat Farm produce. Bring enthusiasm and expect plenty of learning and fun, not to mention good food.
All skill levels catered for and no tweezers required. Maximum 10 guests.
Complete your day with a shared table lunch of the prepared dishes, bread from the Dairy Flat Farm bake house and a glass of wine – with newly acquired friends (cooking together can do that).
Includes pastries and coffee, Dairy Flat Farm tour, recipes, Lake House apron, tote, cooking class, lunch and a glass of wine.
All inclusive $425 per person.
Given the nature of these intimate classes, allergies and dietary preferences are unable to be catered for.
All ticket(s) purchased in an individual transaction will be recorded under the purchaser’s name.
All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and not transferable to other classes.
Participants will receive a separate email confirmation with more information about the event 1 week prior to the date.
